It applies to bookings confirmed and paid on or after the effective date above. Bookings made before that date remain subject to the terms that applied when they were made.
You begin by applying for a place or enquiring about a stay. Dhyani then talks with you and confirms your place or dates. Once that's done, you'll receive a private payment link. Before you pay, you'll be asked to read and accept this policy. Your payment secures your booking, and you'll receive a booking confirmation.
Deposits are non-refundable once paid because your confirmed place or dates are reserved for you and preparations may begin immediately. This does not affect any refund rights you may have under applicable law.
If you cancel more than 30 days before your scheduled arrival date, your deposit remains non-refundable. Any additional amount you have paid toward the remaining balance will be refunded.
"More than 30 days" means at least 31 days before the scheduled arrival date.
If you cancel 30 days or less before your scheduled arrival date, your deposit and any balance payments already made are non-refundable. This remains subject to any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
If your booking is made 30 days or less before arrival, payments made for that booking are non-refundable under this policy, subject to any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Cancellations within 48 hours of your scheduled arrival and failure to attend without notice are treated as late cancellations/no-shows. Payments already made are non-refundable. This remains subject to any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
If you are paying by instalments or have made additional payments toward your balance, the same cancellation rules apply:

The Nile Rest costs £1,000 in total. £250 of this is the non-refundable deposit, and the remaining £750 is the balance. The balance is due 30 days before your stay begins. If you book within 30 days of your chosen dates, please pay in full.
At the discretion of Nubian Royals Sanctuary, we may allow a non-refundable deposit or other payment to be transferred once to another available date, retreat or eligible Nubian Royals Sanctuary experience.
Transfers are offered as a gesture of goodwill and are not an automatic entitlement. They are subject to availability and may be subject to price differences or other reasonable costs.
This is different from a guest choosing to cancel their booking. If Nubian Royals Sanctuary cancels an experience and cannot provide it, for any reason, we will tell you as soon as we can and offer you a choice of:
We strongly recommend that you obtain appropriate travel insurance, including cancellation cover, as soon as your booking is confirmed.
You are responsible for protecting expenses you arrange separately, such as flights, visas, travel insurance and other independent travel arrangements. Subject to applicable law, Nubian Royals Sanctuary is not responsible for these separately arranged costs, including if an experience is cancelled.

Nothing in this policy affects any rights you may have that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
