The Seven Scales of Ma'at form Dhyani Love's living framework for men ready to step beyond performance and return to truth, balance and right relationship. Rooted in the Kemetic principle of Ma'at, each Scale becomes a threshold: an invitation to examine the heart, reclaim disciplined power, speak with integrity, serve with strength and bring body and soul back into alignment.
This library explores the historical foundations, living meaning and personal teachings behind each Scale. It does not present the Seven Scales as a recovered ancient initiation system. It is a contemporary path shaped by Kemetic wisdom, ancestral reflection and Dhyani Love's experience of transformational work.
What Ma'at Means
Ma'at represents truth, balance, justice, order, harmony, reciprocity and right relationship. In ancient Egyptian imagery, the heart of the deceased was weighed against the feather of Ma'at. The image asks a living question: is the life being lived in alignment with truth?
The Aritu — Seven Thresholds
Aritu are sacred gateways or thresholds of passage. Within Dhyani Love's living framework, each Aritu invites a man to confront, align and embody a principle before moving forward.
The word Arit appears in E. A. Wallis Budge's early-twentieth-century translation of the Book of the Dead, where chapters 144–147 describe a series of seven gates or portals, each with a keeper. Modern translators, R. O. Faulkner among them, generally render these simply as gates or portals, and Budge's translations are considered outdated by contemporary Egyptologists.
This is background on the word alone. Dhyani Love's use of Aritu as seven thresholds of personal alignment is her living framework, not a reconstruction of those chapters.
How to read this library
Every Scale page is organised into three layers, each clearly labelled.
Historical Record — only what can be supported by credible Egyptological sources, with translation difficulty acknowledged where it exists.
Living Reflection — what the principle asks of a man's life today.
Dhyani's Transmission — Dhyani Love's own teaching, in her voice.
They are kept apart so that a man can always tell what is documented history, what is contemporary interpretation and what is Dhyani's teaching. Spiritual meaning does not need a false historical claim to carry weight.
