We record a small, anonymous count of interactions on this website. When you click one of our booking, deposit, WhatsApp or "Speak with Dhyani" buttons, we store a single record containing only: which button was pressed, which page and which journey it belongs to, and the date and time. Nothing else.
These records are used only to understand which parts of the website people are engaging with, so we can make the journeys easier to find and understand. They are not used to identify individual visitors, and they cannot be traced back to any person.
We do not record your name, email address, phone number, IP address, location, device fingerprint or anything you type. We set no tracking cookies, use no advertising trackers, and share nothing with advertising networks. Because there is no personal data and no cookie, no consent banner is required.
Analytics records are automatically deleted after 12 months. They are readable only by listed administrators of the Sanctuary.
Mailing list. If you sign up on any page, we store your first name and email address so we can send you news about the journeys. You can ask us to remove you at any time and we will delete your details.
Bookings and deposits. Payments are handled by Stripe, our payment provider. We keep a record of your name, email address, the retreat and the amount paid so we can arrange your place. We never see or store your card details — Stripe holds those. Booking records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires. When you accept our Booking, Deposit & Cancellation Policy before paying, we record which version you accepted and when, alongside your booking or payment record.
WhatsApp messages. The message form on the Connect page opens WhatsApp on your own phone with a message you can edit before sending. Nothing is stored on this website. Once you send it, the conversation is held in WhatsApp, under Meta's own privacy terms.
Only our website and database host, Stripe for payments, and WhatsApp/Meta if you choose to message us there. We never sell or rent your information to anyone.
You may ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent to our emails at any time. Email nubianroyalssanctuary@gmail.com and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
